The way the game works is simple; you just need to make sure the pirate moves along on his adventure without running into any mishaps. In order to accomplish your mission, you have to create bridges that link different platforms together so that your pirate can move forward.

To create the bridges that’ll take you from one platform to the other you just have to touch the screen. The longer you hold down on the screen, the longer the bridge will be. Be careful though, because you have to make sure that when the bridge falls, it’ll connect the platforms perfectly. If your bridge is too short or too long your pirate will inevitably fall in the water!
